GCC Jumla · Our Story

Between the Gulf and Africa
lies an ancient route
we're reopening it digitally.

Jumla is an Omani platform connecting the food trade between the Gulf and East Africa, with a passport that builds trust and a system that moves goods from factory to market.

Our Origin

A trade route centuries old, rebuilt for today

Between the shores of Oman and East Africa runs a trade centuries old, crossing the ocean aboard sailing dhows long before borders knew their paperwork.

Today, Gulf demand for food is enormous and African production is abundant — but between them stand modern walls: absent trust between two parties who don't know each other, differing standards, risky payment, and a cold chain that breaks.

Jumla was born to remove these walls — not with a new ship, but with a digital system centered on the Passport: an accreditation certificate that makes the counterparty known, the product trusted, and the crossing easier.

We're reopening the old route with the tools of the age.

Our Mission

Bridge that carries food — and trust

To build a sustainable commercial bridge for food, directly reaching 368 million consumers across 13 countries — and scalable to 600 million via the EAC and COMESA blocs — with documented trust in every deal.

Our Vision

Oman as the leading digital food hub

For Jumla to be the leading regional platform for digital food trade between the Gulf and Africa, and for the Sultanate of Oman to be firmly established as a primary logistics hub for this corridor — in fulfillment of Oman Vision 2040.

What We Build On

Four foundations. One corridor.

01

The Passport System

Every entity and product carries a Jumla Passport — an accreditation certificate that documents the counterparty, the product, and makes the crossing easier.

02

An Integrated System

Market, warehouses, payment, and logistics — tied together by a single path, so you never leave the platform until the shipment arrives.

03

Accredited Partner Network

A network of accredited partners under a unified standard, that expands without our burdens ballooning — in coordination with official accreditation bodies in both regions.

04

Oman Vision 2040 Alignment

Positioned at the heart of the Gulf–Africa corridor, Oman's geography is an asset. Jumla supports economic diversification, port development, and digital transformation.

The Roadmap

Four phases. One direction.

Phase One · Now

Launch the Passport and the Marketplace on the Oman–East Africa corridor, with the Founding Members who join at priority rates.

Phase Two

Warehouses & Logistics Network

Expand the warehouse and logistics network, and activate official accreditations across both regions of the corridor.

Phase Three

EAC, COMESA & Gulf Expansion

Expand across the EAC and COMESA blocs, and into more Gulf markets — scaling the network to 600 million consumers.

Phase Four

Oman as the Regional Hub

Establish Oman as the logistics hub for the corridor, with a system operating both ways at full capacity — fulfilling Vision 2040.

Markets We Connect

Two regions. One market.

Jumla operates on both ends of the Gulf–East Africa food corridor, connecting accredited exporters and importers across a combined market of 368 million consumers.
